Wrocławski Klub Formaty approached us with a unique commission - a complete overhaul of their current website, both in terms of functionality and visual appeal. One of the key points of our work was to create a product that not only looks aesthetically pleasing but also is user-friendly and adapted to the needs of people with disabilities, following WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

It's worth mentioning that Wrocławski Klub Formaty is an institution with a rich history, operating in Wrocław since 1980. The club aims to promote culture and art through various artistic events such as concerts, festivals, and vernissages, as well as regular educational and movement activities. Thanks to its cultural activity, the club plays an important role in the city's life, contributing to the development and access to diverse forms of art and culture for the residents of Wrocław and guests from other places. Our task was to adapt their website to these goals and values, promoting their activities in an even more efficient and accessible way.

The club's character indicated the need to create a website with a distinctly event-oriented nature. We started the process of building the new site by conducting fundamental research to identify user needs, including people with disabilities. Our priority was to determine what information users were looking for and where and how to best place it on the site to minimize access time.

It was also crucial to prepare an appropriate Design System that not only was accessible and user-friendly for a wide audience but also harmonized with the unique character of the club and its existing visual identity.

During the development of both low and high-fidelity versions, we actively consulted with potential users and the client, aiming to achieve the final result that would meet the expectations of our client and provide satisfaction to website visitors.
