Meet our expert
Piotr Źrołka is an Accessibility Expert with deep, over 11 years experience of accessibility support for companies around the world (especially Poland, USA and Sweden).
What is accessibility?
Accessibility is the practice of customizing websites for use by as many individuals as possible. It refers to people with bigger or smaller impairments or limitations in everyday life – blindness, limited vision, movement, hearing loss or even such aspects as using mobile devices in gloves in winter.
Why it is important?
Accessibility (WCAG 2.1) is something we should do, because everyone should experience digital products the same way. Accessibility can also help you reach to important target groups who will not be able to use your services. On the other hand, some countries have legal requirements that accessibility should be applied.
We will all need different levels of access, whether now or later

Accessibility Guidelines
There are lists and guidelines, which help to determine the level of accessibility on digital products and one of the most famous is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) developed by W3C. This standard is used around the world as a base to introduce accessibility in web content.
